OMS Community,

It has been another great week of on-line teaching and learning. I wanted to thank you for your continued support of OMS and our staff.  The first PTO meeting for the 2020-21 school year is scheduled for September 29th at 6:30 p.m. This will be a zoom meeting and more information will be sent out later. Please click the link to see what is happening next week. We have scheduled a virtual Spirit Week for next week.

OMS Books to Go

The OMS library is still open for business!  In addition to students being able to access eBooks through our OMS library catalog, students now have the option of checking out OMS Books-To-Go using our online catalog.

  • Students may checkout up to 5 print items using our online catalog

  • Students and parents will receive an email when items are ready for pickup

  • Once you receive your "Books are ready" email, books can be picked up at OMS outside the Library Door Monday-Friday from 8am - 3:30pm. On Wednesday books can be picked up until 5pm.

  • A drop off bin will be available for returning books out side the library door. This bin will be outside each weekday until 8pm.

  • Items not picked up by after a week will be returned and reshelved

  • All books are quarantined in accordance with library guidelines

  • Please remember to wear a mask when visiting and thank you for social distancing

Students will be receiving instruction on how to access eBooks and OMS Books to Go in their ELA classes.

SLCL Virtual Library Cards

As mentioned this summer, all Mehlville students are receiving a virtual library card through the St. Louis County Library.  In addition to being able to access thousands of eBooks and audiobooks online, students also have access to numerous databases and student resources.  Students may continue to use their own SLCL card if they already have one.

Students will be receiving instruction on how to access the SLCL virtual library in their ELA classes.
